Utilizing the one strength that could offset Kentucky signee Alex Poythress, Mt. Juliet fell back on its 3-point shooting to pull off a big upset Saturday. The Bears hit eight 3-pointers — including four from Caleb Chowbay — and knocked off Northeast 68-51 on Saturday in the Region 5-AAA quarterfinals. Chowbay finished with a game-high 23 points and hit a key 3-pointer early in the third quarter that gave Mt. Juliet its first lead.
