It was Freshman Day at the University of Florida on Sunday. Of course, every day and any day is Freshman Day when No. 1-ranked Kentucky comes to town. Even when it is supposed to be Florida’s Senior Day. In a idyllic world, this would have been a fitting sendoff for Erving Walker, Florida’s inspirational 5-foot-8 senior point guard who is a testament to what college basketball once was.
