The degree to which Kyle Wiltjer considers and cherishes his Canadian roots is remarkable in many ways given he was raised in a nice suburb of Portland. The freshman star of the Kentucky Wildcats doesn't just have a Canadian passport for convenience, he really wants to play for the country in the Olympics the way his father Greg did back in the 1980s after starring at Oregon State where his team went to the elite eight in '82 before he went to the University of Victoria.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
