What started as an ugly game turned into a tight one, and the Pistons held on for a 76-73 win over the Raptors tonight at the Palace. Ben Gordon and Brandon Knight each scored 19 points for the Pistons, who moved to two games ahead of Toronto for 10th place in the Eastern Conference. Greg Monroe had eight points and 17 rebounds. Detroit won despite shooting 37% (26-for-71) from the field and making just 2 of 15 three-pointers. The Pistons also missed 13 foul shots (22-for-35) and were outrebounded, 45-40.
