For those who like to rip basketball and suggest Cal's players don't go to class, there isn't much they can say when they find out they had a 3.12 average in the classroom.  “All these kids are good kids,” told .  “We had a (3.12) GPA as a team for this term with five players who are leaving early, so all this stuff bitter old men say that they don't go to class, it's not true.”  All the freshman who are leaving for the NBA completed the semester.  , and combined for a spring GPA well above 3.0. The two seniors, and , received their diplomas at May commencement.

On This Day In UK Basketball History

On June 24, 2010, Kentucky had five players drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft. John Wall became the first Wildcat ever named the overall No. 1 pick when he was selected by the Washington Wizards.  DeMarcus Cousins was selected fifth by the Sacramento Kings, Patrick Patterson went 14th to the Houston Rockets, Eric Bledsoe went 18th to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Daniel Orton was picked 29th by the Orlando Magic.
