New Orleans Hornets draft prospect Anthony Davis visited New Orleans on Tuesday to meet with Hornets executives and get a tour of the city. Davis, the 2012 National Player of the Year who is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the June 28 draft, was spared from the workouts most potential draftees perform for NBA coaches. Instead, Davis met with the media and said he will have a “meet and greet” with Hornets higher-ups today while he takes a tour of the city. “It’s a great city,” Davis said of what he’s seen of New Orleans so far. “If I was drafted here it would be awesome.”
