Strickland was arrested at East Maxwell and Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 9 a.m. because Lexington Police say he was driving on a DUI suspended license. There is a document at the courthouse that says Strickland’s license was re-instated over a year ago, however, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Strickland’s license is still suspended in Tennessee, and has been since March. Tennessee authorities say the license has been suspended even longer, dating back to 2011 because Strickland failed maintain proof of insurance.
