New LSU basketball coach Johnny Jones' busy pre-season has apparently yielded another big prize. “It's a great day,” Mickey said Thursday night. “It's a weight off my chest.”Jordan Mickey, a 6-foot-8, 223-pound forward from the Dallas area committed to Jones and the Tigers on Thursday night after a home visit earlier this week from the LSU coach. It's also a major pickup for the Tigers. By adding Mickey, Jones bolsters a 2013 recruiting class that already features two other front-court players: Sudanese forward Deng Deng and Nigerian-born center John Odoh, who is expected to enroll at LSU in January but not play until next season.
