James Young enjoyed his weekend visit to Kentucky and is considering taking an official visit there Oct. 12 for Big Blue Madness. “That is the date that we’re looking at,” Sean Mahone, Young’s Godfather, told SNY.tv Monday. “We haven’t committed to it but that’s the date that I know we were asked.” Kentucky is also expected to host 6-9 California forward Marcus Lee for Big Blue Madness, and may also host the Harrison Twins. Lee is down to Kentucky and California and had an in-home visit Sunday with Cal coach Mike Montgomery. The Rivals No. 2 shooting guard in the Class of 2013 out of Rochester (Mich) High, Young will also take an unofficial visit to Michigan State “within a week,” Mahone said. “We have plans over the next week to go visit Michigan State,” he said.
