Thirty different countries are represented within the current student body at Wilbraham & Monson Academy. But it’s the likes of Kentucky, Connecticut and Missouri that may continue to put the school – and its boys basketball program – on the map. The start of the Titans’ 2012-13 season is still five weeks away, but that hasn’t stopped a pipeline of interest from college coaches from making the trek to the Faculty Street gymnasium. University of Kentucky’s John Calipari, coach of the reigning national champion, was on campus Wednesday morning with a particular interest in junior Goodluck Okonoboh and sophomore Luis Monteiro.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
