As much as might be pleased with how he has played this week, he is just happy with how he felt. After missing last season’s training camp following ankle surgery and struggling with pain all season, he has been pain-free and at full strength while taking over as the starting power forward.  “It’s like playing when you’re sick,” Patterson said. “You feel amazing out there when your body feels good again. I’m able to do things without grimacing, without pain, without worrying. Every time I step out on the court, I feel fine, without any worries on my mind.  “The body’s good. The legs feel good. Little tired just because we’ve been going so hard, so long. There’s still room for improvement, but at this time, I feel good about my progress.”
