After tweaking his groin last week that forced him to miss Friday's preseason game against the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets rookie forward Anthony Davis returned to practice Sunday but was held out of contact work. Hornets Coach Monty Williams said he got up and down the court a lot during the extended two-and-a half hour practice at the Alario Center. “He looked good running the floor, but he's a little sore from the treatment they gave him yesterday (Saturday),'' Williams said. “But I think he will be OK this week.'' Davis, the No. 1 overall pick in the June NBA draft, tweaked his groin during Thursday night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats. He watched Friday's game against the Rockets from the bench wearing a suit.
