Brandon Knight gets the double-double, Tayshaun Prince scores 18 in Pistons loss

Lawrence Frank said his team is at about the same stage the Phoenix Suns are in terms of development, a young team trying to find its way.

At various points, neither side looked like it wanted to win but the Suns held off a furious late comeback from the Pistons, as Brandon Knight's 3-pointer from the top of the key went wide, giving the Suns a 92-89 win, Friday at U.S. Airways Center.

Despite their two best players, Greg Monroe and Rodney Stuckey, having subpar evenings for the second straight game, the Pistons found themselves in a position to win the first of their six-game road trip.
