But Monday in Detroit, I think he had the definitive Russell Westbrook play. The ultimate no-what-are-you-doing-oh-that-was-awesome play.
As the Thunder were mounting a furious comeback, Westbrook got caught midair and appeared destined for a turnover. Instead, thinking on his feet — or off them, if you know what I mean — Westbrook threw the ball off Brandon Knight, gathered it and bolted to the rim for a layup.
