A young Kentucky family needs your help…

This was brought to my attention by a friend and hits close to my home here in Elizabethtown.   I have a daughter of my own not much older than young Brooklyn here and can only imagine what this family is going through.

On November 23rd, 2012, Brooklyn , who is only one year old, was admitted to Kosair Children’s Hospital in with what doctors thought to be a tumor located on one of her kidneys. After further tests, it was determined that the mass was neuroblastoma. She is a bright, energetic, and happy one year old who is facing a long and tough road ahead.  One thing for sure is that Brooklyn is a fighter and with the love and support of family and friends she will WIN this battle! God is with her every second of every day. Please continue to lift this sweet little angel and family in your prayers.  I’ve been told Brooklyn began chemotherapy this very evening.

By contributing to “Brooklyn’s Believers” you will help aid with the financial burden the Disselkamp family, Erin and Daniel of Cecilia, Kentucky,  incur through this very difficult time. All donations are greatly appreciated. Brooklyn and the entire Disselkamp family thank you for your support, prayers and generosity.
