DeMarcus Cousins has been in limbo for the Sacramento Kings the past few games. On Thursday, it appears that Sacramento has come closer to a resolution. Possibly. Kings head coach Keith Smart indicated that Cousins could be ready to play on Friday night for Sacramento against the New York Knicks.
Cousins was left in the locker room at halftime against the Clippers this past weekend after a prolonged altercation with Smart. Cousins was then indefinitely suspended, missing a game against Portland, which the Kings ended up winning. Cousins was then reinstated, but he didn't travel with the team to Portland, where Sacramento lost.
