Coming off the first loss of the 2012-13 season, Huntington Prep's Andrew Wiggins didn't say much prior to Saturday's game against Wesleyan Christian. He waited until he got on the court to do that.
Wiggins finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Express to a 45-41 win over Wesleyan Christian in the Chance Harman Classic at Floyd County (Va.) High School.
“I challenged him in front of everybody and he responded,” head coach Rob Fulford said. “He can't just worry about being the best in the country when shots are falling. He's got to dominate the glass and defensively.”
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
