Wildcats must build on Auburn win to make NCAA tournament

Road struggles have plagued the Wildcats this season. On Jan. 19 at Auburn, the Wildcats had no such struggle, something that is a good sign moving forward.  Kentucky dominated on the road for the first time all year. This road win must be improved upon for play, but more importantly, for the tournament.

It has been a rough start to the season for the now 12-5 (3-1) Wildcats. The year has been filled with lows, one of the lowest being on Jan. 12. Kentucky lost to A&M at home, 83-71.

After that game, it was a very real possibility that the Wildcats could miss the tournament for the first time under head coach John Calipari.
