Saturday’s doubleheader in Louisville featuring UK recruits Karl Towns, Jahlil Okafor and Skal Labissiere has been canceled, the event’s organizers announced Wednesday. Organizers for the Red State Blue State Series released this statement via their website:
The Feb. 2 games of the Red State Blue State Series games between Ballard and St. Joseph’s and Whitney Young and Evangelical Christian have been cancelled.
All tickets purchased for Broadbent Arena will be refunded immediately. For those who purchased tickets during the buy-one-get-one ticket promotion will still receive a free ticket to the March 3 Red State Blue Series Huntington Prep vs Montverde Academy match-up at Freedom Hall. Tickets are on sale and available for that game.
