
Three future Kentucky Wildcats and two Kentucky recruits have been named finalists for the boys Morgan Wootten Player of the Year award. The award honors the country’s top male basketball player, taking into consideration character, leadership, student-athlete values and community involvement.
The list of finalists: recruit Aaron Gordon of Archbishop Mitty (Calif.), future Cats Aaron Harrison and Andrew Harrison of William B. Travis (Texas), future Cat Dakari Johnson of Montverde (Fla.) and Kentucky recruit Andrew Wiggins of Huntington Prep (W.Va.). Duke commit Jabari Parker was also listed as a finalist.
