Texas forward Justise Winslow is the latest recruit from the class of 2014 to receive a scholarship offer from Kentucky.
Winslow, a 6-foot-6 small forward from Houston, told his EYBL coach that John Calipari called after last weekend’s Nike Peach Jam to extend the offer. The five-star prospect plays for Houston Hoops, and the UK coach and his assistants watched Winslow and teammate Kelly Oubre several times throughout the week. Oubre also said UK offered following Peach Jam.
Scout.com ranks Winslow as the No. 13 overall player in the class of 2014.
He returned to Texas last week after winning a gold medal with the Team USA 19-and-under squad in Prague.
