Former Kentucky basketball player Terrence Jones apologized Thursday following his arrest on charges of harassment in his hometown of Portland, Oregon.
“I am extremely sorry and embarrassed for my actions,” Jones said in a written statement. “Sorry to all my family, friends, fans and everyone else who I've hurt.”
Jones posted the statement on his Facebook account, saying he is “taking steps to become a better person and a better role model.”
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
