Former Cat Rodrick Rhodes takes job at Hazard college

Former men’s basketball player  has been named a KCTCS Fellow at Hazard Community and Technical College. He will work with students and employees on health and wellness initiatives. He will also assist with admissions and student mentoring programs.

Rhodes will also continue working as Cordia High School’s head boys’ basketball coach.

“Rhodes has a lot of wonderful ideas in terms of and retaining students and he looks forward to seeing those ideas implemented,” HCTC President Steve Greiner said. “Rodrick brings enthusiasm to a job that is very diverse and I know he’s up to the challenge for the many different roles where he will be serving.”

Rhodes hopes to bring the experience from his playing and coaching careers to the role.
