Brandon Knight's launch as a Milwaukee Bucks point guard has not gone as planned.
Instead of experiencing lift-off, the soon-to-be 22-year-old Knight has been grounded early in the season.
The former Detroit Pistons guard, acquired in the Brandon Jennings trade during the summer, lasted less than 2 minutes in the season opener in New York before suffering a painful right hamstring injury.
He briefly tried to return against Dallas and Miami, playing 39 minutes in those two games.
After another shutdown period over the last 10 days, the 6-foot-3 Knight might be ready for another try. He made the trip to Philadelphia on Thursday and will be evaluated to see if he can return to the court as the Bucks meet the 76ers on Friday night.
