Anthony Davis’ key block, 32 points lead Pelicans past Nuggets in OT

 backup shooting guard Anthony Morrow came into Sunday’s game against Denver hoping to be counted on to make perimeter shots.

When the opportunity came, Morrow delivered.

Morrow’s 15-foot, pull-up jumper with 0.9 seconds remaining in regulation sent the game into overtime, then forward went back to his dominating play to carry the Pelicans to a hard-fought 111-107 victory at the Smoothie King Center.

It was the Pelicans’ third consecutive victory, and Davis scored a game-high 32 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked six shots.
