Terrence Jones scores 30 as Rockets pummel Jazz

put up 30 points to help the blow out the Jazz, 124-86. The Rockets had a strong shooting performance, finishing 46-79 (58.2%) from the field, including 13-25 (52.0%) from beyond the arc. Houston (45-22) entered the game on a three losing streak.

Jones went 11-15 (3-4 from three-point range) and 5-7 from the free throw line, in a quality performance offensively. Other top performers for were Patrick Beverley with 19 points and 7 rebounds, with 17 points and 9 assists, and Omer Asik with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Despite the loss, Alec Burks scored 15 points off the bench for on 6-9 shooting from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line.

The Rockets combined an eFG% of 66.5% with 52.0% 3-point shooting. They are undefeated (17-0) this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Jazz, on the other hand, are 1-13 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
