Terrence Jones, fresh off a breakout season in the NBA, is back in Lexington this week and amazed by how much things have changed for the University of Kentucky basketball program in his less than two years away from it. One thing hasn’t.
“It feels good being back and seeing all the love and support by the Big Blue Nation,” said Jones, who was working at a children’s camp at Lexington Christian Academy on Thursday. “It’s just exciting to put a whole bunch of smiles on little kids’ faces.”
While the adoring crowd felt familiar, the surroundings did not.
