It is the Nerlens Noel show whenever he takes the floor at the Orlando Pro Summer League. People are interested in seeing what the Sixers center is capable of after being sidelined for 18 months following knee surgery.

In his second game, Noel wasn't able to match the 19 points he put up in his debut. He scored eight on 3 of 6 shooting against Houston, but he was active defensively. He had six rebounds and three blocks compared to just two and one, respectively, in his first game.

The Sixers used that solid defense and some balanced offense to beat the Rockets, 92-71 (see game recap).

On This Day In UK Basketball History

On February 21, 1970, No. 2 Kentucky defeated LSU, 121-105.  Dan Issel scored 51 points, Mike Pratt 27 and Tom Parker 18 as UK outgunned LSU star “Pistol Pete” Maravich’s 64-point performance before 9,000 fans in the John Parker Memorial Coliseum.  This was the ultimate shootout between all-time SEC greats Maravich and Issel.
