DeMarcus Cousins finished with 29 points and recorded 14 rebounds, his 14th double-double of the season, to lead the Sacramento Kings to a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, 108-101. Sacramento (12-15) has won just three of its last 10 games.
Cousins finished 9-19 and converted 11-15 from the free throw line. Other key performers for Sacramento were Rudy Gay with 24 points and six assists, and Ben McLemore with 23 points and eight rebounds. Nick Young had another strong game off the bench for Los Angeles in the loss, putting up 26 points on 7-14 shooting (4-9 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 8-8 from the free throw line.
