The punch line of the Detroit Pistons' 2014 free-agency season may prove to be, “Jodie Meeks is overpaid.”
Perhaps you heard that one.
Well, he certainly isn't playing like it.
The Pistons, criticized last summer for bestowing a three-year, $19.5 million contract on Meeks, rode his 34 points and 3-point barrage to a 109-86 victory over the Orlando Magic and their first three-game win streak of the season Tuesday.
The Pistons (8-23) are 5-4 since Meeks returned from a back injury that cost him the first 22 games.
