For the first 13 games in the 2014-15 season, fans saw the Kentucky Wildcats dominate teams defensively.
With performances against then-No. 5 Kansas, where the Cats held the Jayhawks to just 19.6 percent shooting, or against UCLA, where the Bruins scored only seven points in the first half, UK’s defense was defined as suffocating.
