Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe scored a career-high 33 points on 11 of 22 shooting from the field and 10 of 15 shooting from the free-throw line in his team’s 118-113 win over the Blazers Wednesday. Bledsoe topped his two 30-point efforts, both from last April, to deliver a new personal best in scoring. He also racked up 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals in 34 minutes in the win, his team’s fourth straight. Bledsoe’s next matchup comes Friday against the Rockets.
Wizards point guard John Wall scored 18 points on 6 of 17 shooting while dishing out 13 assists in his team’s 105-103 overtime loss to the Thunder Wednesday. Wall managed to deliver his second straight double-double Wednesday after going five straight games without one such performance. His 13 assists mark his highest total since he tallied 17 against Minnesota in mid-December. Wall also racked up six rebounds and four steals in 44 minutes Wednesday. He’ll square off with the Blazers Saturday.
Kings center DeMarcus Cousins posted a double-double on Wednesday against the Nets. Cousins shot 10-24 from the field. He hit eight of his 11 free throws, finishing with 28 points. He was active on the boards, pulling down 14 rebounds. Cousins added three assists and two steals.
Pelicans forward Anthony Davis picked up 29 points on Wednesday against the Lakers. Davis shot 11-18 from the field. He sunk seven of his eight free throws, leading the team with 29 points. Davis was active in other facets of the game, pulling down eight rebounds, blocking four shots and coming up with three steals.
