Rajon Rondo nearly gets the triple-double; two other former WIldcats double stuff stats

Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo scored 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting in Dallas’ 109-106 loss to the Pelicans Sunday. Not only did Rondo shoot well in the contest, he spread the wealth, dishing out nine assists and grabbing eight rebounds. ¬†Rondo came up one assist short of his 12th double-double of the season and two rebounds short of his third triple-double of the year. He added two steals to his totals on the night.

Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis scored 28 points on 8 of 18 shooting, including 12 of 14 from the free throw line, in New Orleans’ 109-106 win over the Mavericks Sunday. In addition to shooting well, Davis grabbed 10 rebounds to give him his 25th double-double of the season. Davis also racked up five steals and dished out three assists in the contest.

Wizards point guard John Wall scored 19 points on 8 of 16 shooting from the field in Washington’s 117-115 overtime win over the Nuggets Sunday. Wall also dished out a game-high 16 assists, the most he’s had in a game since Dec. 17. It was Wall’s 24th double-double of the season and third in his last four games. Wall added three rebounds and one steal to his totals.
