Kentucky had little trouble earlier this month in its visit against an improved Alabama team.
In Saturday night's rematch at Rupp Arena, the top-ranked Wildcats will face a Crimson Tide squad that's mired in a slump and won't have one of its leading scorers available.
Kentucky (20-0, 7-0 SEC) led by double digits for much of the final 28 minutes in a 70-48 rout of Alabama on Jan. 17 and used its usual balanced scoring attack. The Wildcats had eight players contribute at least five points and three score in double figures, led by Devin Booker's 13 off the bench.
Alabama entered that game at 12-4, nearly matching its win total from its 13-19 finish in 2013-14. The Tide (13-7, 3-4) suffered two of their first four losses by a combined three points and have come up short in some close games recently as well.
