The SEC Network announced Thursday that it has hired John Pelphrey as a game analyst.
The former player and coach has spent time at three schools in the conference. He was a player at Kentucky, a head coach at Arkansas and, most recently, an assistant coach at Florida.
During four seasons with the Razorbacks, Pelphrey went 69-59 and led Arkansas to one NCAA Tournament appearance. He was fired after the 2010-11 season.
As a player at Kentucky, Pelphrey was a two-time captain and led the Wildcats to the 1992 Elite Eight.
