Everybody saw how fast De’Aaron Fox is when he helped his team to 18 fast break points in UK’s scrimmage last week.
So, Fox gets compared to Wall. All the time.
“I don’t feel like it’s ever bad to be compared to someone like that,” Fox, a 6-3, 187-pound freshman, said. “It just gives you really high expectations.”
While there’s no rush to proclaim Fox as Wall’s equal on the basketball court, the comparison should be valued because speed is their priority weapon.
That benefits both the players and their teams.
