Former Wildcat and former University of Evansville men’s basketball coach Walter McCarty has been ordered to appear in a Vanderburgh County courtroom in October, according to public records.

McCarty failed to appear for an Aug. 20 court date in Vanderburgh County in a civil case filed by Old National Bank, court records state. The order to appear was issued June 19, giving McCarty two months to make arrangements.
