Tyler Herro thinks he should have made the All-Rookie First Team

guard on Tuesday was named to the 2019-20 All-Rookie Second Team to become the seventh player in team history to receive that honor.

The 13th overall pick averaged 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 55 games played this season while he shot 38.9% from 3-point range. He finished sixth in scoring and third in 3-pointers made among qualified rookies.

Herro received 23 first-team votes and 69 second-team votes from a panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters to finish sixth in the final results. He was just one point shy of placing on the First Team, where he believed he should have finished.
