Former Wildcat Dontaie Allen hoping for breakout season at Western Kentucky

The opportunity for a bigger role drew Dontaie Allen to Bowling Green to play for Rick Stansbury at Western Kentucky.

The one-time Kentucky Mr. Basketball redshirted his first year at to recover from his ACL injury he suffered in high school at Pendleton County. Over his next two years, he appeared in 41 games and averaged just over 10 minutes of play.

“(Stansbury) wants me to be able to play all positions and that's what I love because that's how my game is,” Allen said. “I know he believes in my game. I believe in my game.”
