Freshman forward Karl-Anthony Towns didn't smile much on the court Sunday evening against Eastern Kentucky, but he was back to himself after the game.
“Man, I feel like LeBron (James) right now,” Towns joked as he stepped up to his chair in front of a throng of reporters.
On Saturday night at 9:29 ET Towns tweeted a preview of what was to come when his top-ranked Cats hosted Eastern Kentucky.
“#BBN Be ready to see a different KAT tomorrow,” the tweet said.
True to his word, the 6-foot-11 forward from Piscataway, N.J., didn't sport his customary smile and happy-go-lucky nature throughout Kentucky's 82-49 victory at Rupp Arena. Instead, he traded it in for a more business-like approach as the Cats defeated the visiting Colonels in front of 23,268 fans.
