Kentucky Wildcats stay perfect, down UConn 64-61

Freshman John Wall scored a season-high 25 points, including 12 of ‘s last 15 in the game, and the fourth-ranked Wildcats beat No. 14 Connecticut 64-61 on Wednesday night in the SEC/Big East Invitational.  Wall lived up to his billing in his first appearance at , overcoming first-half foul trouble and dominating the game over the final 7 1/2 minutes.  Read article.

On February 18, 1903, State College (Kentucky) records its first win, an 11-10 decision over Lexington YMCA. The Wildcats finished that first season with a 1-2 record.
