From “The Season Never Ends 2010 Calendar:”  Down 17 and looking hopelessly outmatched against #1 seed Duke, Kentucky charged back to defeat the Blue Devils 86-84 and advance to the Final Four under first-year head coach Tubby Smith.  For UK fans it was kind of revenge for the 1992 heartbreak in Philadelphia.  “The ghost has now left the building,” said equipment manager Bill Keightley.  “We will no longer have to mention Christian Laettner any more.”  With their comeback came their nickname, the Comeback Cats, etched forever in UK lore.”

Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
