Kentucky‘s Terrence Jones was named SEC Freshman of the Week after averaging 26.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in wins over Auburn and LSU. Jones came off the bench and broke the UK freshman single-game scoring record with 35 points against Auburn. He shot 11-of-17 from the field, including a career best four 3-pointers . Jones also pulled down eight rebounds in the win. In the win over LSU, he came off the bench to score 17 points while pulling down seven rebounds. Jones has scored in double-figures in 10 straight games.
