Following a season-opening 108-58 win over Marist on Friday, the Wildcats set their sights on the bright lights of the Big Apple where they are taking on the 13th-ranked Kansas Jayhawks in historic Madison Square Garden as a part of the inaugural State Farm Champions Classic. In the Wildcats’ season-opener, UK had five players score in double-figures led by freshman Anthony Davis‘ 23 points. Davis added 10 rebounds for his first career double-double and blocked five shots for good measure.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
