Nets waive former Cat Keith Bogans

Avery Johnson, Keith Bogans - photo by Julio Cortez | APOne day after undergoing surgery to repair a torn deltoid ligament and a broken bone in his left ankle, guard Keith Bogans was waived by the Nets today. The Nets then signed forward Andre Emmett to a 10-day contract. Emmett, a 6-5 forward, had been playing for the Reno Bighorns of the D-League. He had been averaging 23.7 points and 6 rebounds per game. He was second in scoring in the D-League.
