An All-American team should kind of look like an actual basketball team. We have no idea why people can’t grasp this concept, but not everybody does. So you see All-American teams with five forwards or four guards, and no team should ever have five forwards or four guards (unless, of course, Frank Haith is coaching it). It’s silly. It would be like having an All-Pro team with no quarterback but eight receivers because somebody determined there were eight receivers better than any quarterbacks.
