In a vote by Southeastern Conference head coaches, Nerlens Noel and Alex Poythress were named to the preseason All-SEC teams as announced by the league office on Friday.
Noel was voted to the first team, while Poythress was named to the second team.
Noel averaged 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in UK's two-game exhibition schedule while Poythress averaged 8.0 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting .545 from the field.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
