Former Cat Terrence Jones named to NBA D-League All-Stars

Rookie forward Terrence Jones will represent the Rockets in the D-League All-Star game.  Jones was one of 20 players named for the game, which will be played in Houston as part of NBA All-Star week festivities. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 16 at the Sprint Arena, which is part of the Jam Session at the George R. Brown Convention center.

Jones has played in 11 games for the Rockets this season. In 13 games in Rio Grande Valley, he is averaging 19.7 points and 9.6 rebounds.

On March 4, 2012, Kentucky closed out the 2011-12 season with a 74-59 win at Florida capping a perfect 16-0 run through the SEC. It marked the third time a UK team went 16-0 in league play and the first time since the 2003 squad turned the trick.
