Kentucky overwhelms Kentucky State in exhibition, 111-58

Freshman Skal Labissiere scored 22 points to lead No. 2 Kentucky to a 111-58 victory over in an exhibition game on Friday night.

Labissiere, who grabbed nine rebounds, did all his scoring in the second half and finished 9 of 12 from the field.

had 20 points for the Wildcats, while Tyler Ulis scored 15, 13 and Charles Matthews 11. Ulis and Murray combined for 29 points in the first half.

Malcolm Smith led with 14 points.

It was the final exhibition game for Kentucky, which opens the season against on Friday.

Kentucky paid tribute to police officer Daniel Ellis on the board before the national anthem. Ellis died Friday at Hospital after being shot during a robbery investigation Wednesday in Richmond.
