Kentucky vs North Carolina Alumni Charity Game
Former Kentucky stars and current NBA stars DeMarcus Cousins (2009-10), Anthony Davis (2011-12) and John Wall (2009-10) were selected as reserves in the 65th NBA All-Star Game next month in Toronto.
The five starters for both the Eastern and Western Conferences for the game were voted in by fans and were named last week. Coaches around the league then decided which players would fill in the rest of the two rosters. The list of reserve players was announced on TNT on Thursday.
All three Coach Cal pupils made the All-Star game last year as well. It's the third year in a row that Wall and Davis will participate in the game and the second for Cousins.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
